PR insiders know that August is a notoriously slow month for media, but the Aria team stayed plenty busy (when not enjoying Summer Fridays, staycations and other getaways) securing feature coverage and creating momentum for our growing roster of HIT companies. Here are just a few of this month’s top highlights:

  • CynergisTek climbed Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for the third consecutive year, landing at #512. The company was the highest ranked healthcare security company on the list, and is the eighth highest overall security vendor.
  • Tom Lee, CEO and Founder of SA Ignite, shared the top nine most popular suggested changes to the MACRA proposed rule with Becker’s Hospital Review.
  • Pam Minichiello, Project Director at the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative, sat down with longtime Aria friend, and editor at Physicians Practice, Gabe Perna, to share tips for how small practices can prepare themselves for MACRA.
  • Local client, Docent Health, announced the arrival of four key executives to the company’s growing team. Boston Business Journal shared the news in its People on the Move section.
  • Capto EVP and Co-Founder, Nick Vennaro, bylined an article for Health IT Outcomes titled, “Your Billing System Needs an Overhaul: How to Make a Successful Transition,” which offers best practices to ensure executives and end-users alike are prepared for and playing an active role in system migration.
