Spring has finally sprung in Boston, with flowers and trees beginning to bloom (some in the office are really feeling it, courtesy of allergies). As we emerge from a long winter, we’re looking back on all of the accomplishments of our clients from the past month. Here are just a few of the highlights!
• SA Ignite CEO and Founder, Tom Lee, shared his reaction to the proposed MACRA rule in the Modern Healthcare cover-story, “Docs face stark choices under Medicare pay proposal,” noting that the new change will markedly adjust how Medicare pays providers.
• AxisPoint Health’s EVP of Solution Delivery, Mike Myers, shared his insight with Managed Healthcare Executive on how to best utilize data analytics in order to identify high-cost patients. You can read the full article here.
• IBM Watson Health’s VP, Dr. Anil Jain, spoke with Becker’s Hospital Review about population health and cognitive computing, providing his top four insights into the future of health IT, including his thoughts on the role Watson Health Cloud will play in population health.
• Allison Case, Account Manager at ZirMed, presented a session at Becker’s Hospital Review's Annual Meeting alongside Kittie Smith, Director of Revenue Cycle at Baptist Health Medical Group. The presentation, “Enhancing Rev Cycle Processes to Improve Claims and Boost Operational Efficiency,” discussed how healthcare organizations can maximize revenue while also streamlining communication across departments.
• Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative President and CEO, Micky Tripathi, spoke at iH2 Cleveland on the future of interoperability and FHIR. You can read a full write-up on his session in Healthcare Informatics.
• Press Ganey’s President and CMO of Chief Strategic Consulting, Dr. James Merlino, was named one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “50 Experts Leading the Field of Patient Safety in 2016."
