Summer is an exciting time here at Aria. Not only does the month of June bring warm weather and the promise of Summer Fridays, but it’s also a time of many in-office celebrations. This year, we’re celebrating Krysta Ferry’s promotion from trusted intern to full-fledged Account Executive, our VP Ross Homer’s two-year work anniversary, and six (yes, six!) birthdays.
In true Aria fashion, we’ll be marking these milestones with plenty of food and fun. We truly believe in a ‘work hard, play hard’ philosophy, and gathering as a team to recognize each other’s special days is an important part of our culture. Here are just a few of the activities we have planned:
- To recognize the hard work of our dedicated intern-turned-AE, the entire team will take a trip to our favorite local summer spot, West Street Tavern, for a happy hour celebration in Krysta’s honor. While the drinks flow, we’ll toast to her continued success and to our growing staff.
- Ross is arguably Aria’s biggest foodie, so it’s only fitting that we celebrate his two years of service to the agency with a delicious lunch and plenty of dessert. The big question will be whether he opts for Chinese or Thai food— two of his go-to favorites.
- Working on your birthday isn’t ideal, but at Aria, we try to make it special. In addition to taking off early, typical birthday perks include a decorated desk, a card signed by the whole team and a sweet treat. This year, we’re also hosting one big office-wide birthday celebration on June 23 for all our June babies.
