1upHealth’s Chief Executive Officer, Joe Gagnon, and Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. Don Rucker, spoke with HIMSS TV about 1upHealth’s evolution as a FHIR interoperability leader. Founder and Chief Technology Officer Ricky Sahu spoke with Healthcare Finance News about interoperability’s potential to increase price transparency and unlock data for more personalized healthcare. Additionally, Dr. Rucker discussed how FHIR would transform patient outcomes with Healthcare IT News at HIMSS and provided his perspective on how FHIR will allow payers to analyze health populations more effectively and increase patient engagement with HealthLeaders, AJMC, and Integrated Healthcare Executive.

 

2bPrecise Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joel Diamond was featured in several prominent industry publications, sharing his advice and insights on healthcare advancements. In a MedCity News byline, he discussed the impact of precision medicine on patient outcomes and the various specialties to which it can be applied. Medical Economics interviewed him in a video piece that explained what precision medicine is and broke down the link between genetic science and technology. Dr. Diamond and AccessDx Executive Vice President Bryon Cipriani joint-authored a guest article for Healthcare IT Today in which they offered tips for safe health IT conference attendance during Covid times.

 

Cynthia Harris Perazzo, EVP of Insights and Advisory at AVIA, was included in a Forbes article titled, “Innovation Amid Declining Margins: Four Questions Health Systems Should Ask Themselves Prior To Investment” about digital transformation initiatives. In the piece, Perazzo explains why health systems need a digital health roadmap that is directly linked to and aligned with a broader strategic plan.

 

Cotiviti’s EVP of population health management, risk adjustment, and quality operations, RaeAnn Grossman, had a byline published in Managed Health Executive discussing the necessary steps health plans should follow while navigating the great resignation. Additionally, Cotiviti Chairman, President, and CEO, Dr. Emad Rizk, was featured in both Healthcare IT Today and Integrated Health Executive, delivering his predictions for healthcare in 2022 and describing changes in interoperability, advances in AI technologies, and improvements in price transparency.

 

Firstsource President of Healthcare and Lifesciences, Venkatgiri Vandali, was featured in Integrated Healthcare Executive with his thoughts on how to best approach Medicaid redetermination in 2022. Additionally, Firstsource was highlighted in AiThority for being named Best in KLAS® for Eligibility and Enrollment Services and in Health IT Answers for its designation by Everest Group as a Leader in Healthcare Payer Operations PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022. Firstsource was also named a Leader in Payer Digital Transformation Services and a Rising Star in Payer BPaaS by ISG Provider Lens™ 2021, which garnered coverage in Bio-IT World and Health IT Answers.

 

Aria secured high-value press and analysts meetings at HIMSS 22 for its client HealthSparq including meetings with Chilmark Research, HIMSS TV, and Healthcare Innovation. This quarter, HealthSparq also announced a partnership with non-profit health plan UCare, which received pick-up across a variety of healthcare outlets, including Health IT Answers and Healthcare Finance News. Additionally, Dr. Nick of The Incrementalist interviewed Mark Menton, General Manager at HealthSparq, to discuss price transparency efforts in healthcare.

 

Kyruus’ General Manager of Health Systems, Scott Andrews, contributed a byline to MedCity News and provided his insight to Healthcare IT Today on rising consumer expectations for digital access experiences and how healthcare organizations can boost patient acquisition and retention. Additionally, findings from Kyruus’ Patient Access Journey Report were featured in Insider Intelligence’s report on “The 2022 Healthcare Consumer.” Moreover, Kyruus’ partnership with Google was featured in STAT News, Modern Healthcare, and Fierce Healthcare, to name a few.

 

Lyniate’s Chief Operating Officer Scott Galbari shared his outlook on the future of healthcare and interoperability, including how health systems’ move to the cloud will necessitate developments in security and authorization in Integrated Healthcare Executive. Chief Strategy Officer Drew Ivan discussed the role TEFCA will play in provider data-sharing with Healthcare IT News and provided predictions on the industry’s top priorities in Healthcare IT Today. News of Lyniate’s data integration partnership with Epic’s Garden Plot garnered coverage in HIT Consultant, Becker’s Hospital Review, and DOTmed Healthcare Business News. Aria also secured coverage in AiThority, Bio-IT World and Biometric Update, stemming from the announcement of Lyniate’s merger with NextGate, a strategic partnership to advance patient identity resolution and data quality capabilities.

 

VisualDx’s CEO, Dr. Art Papier, and its Director of Clinical Impact, Dr. Nada Elbuluk, were featured in FierceHealthcare in a piece about the success of Project IMPACT, the company’s global health equity initiative. Additionally, Dr. Papier shared insights on how training AI models on diverse data sets can augment decision-making in Healthcare IT News. SELF featured Dr. Elbuluk’s commentary on the need to improve representation across medical resources. However, arguably the highlight of the quarter was a feature in The New York Times describing VisualDx as an invaluable dermatological and diagnostic resource.

 

ZeOmega’s CEO Sam Rangaswamy was featured in a HIMSS TV interview resulting from our outreach around the conference. In the live video segment, he discussed “Improving Efficiency and Healthcare Access with Data.” Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Sand shared “5 Things We Must Do To Improve the US Healthcare System” in Authority Magazine. Health Data Management quoted Vice President of Interoperability Tony Sheng in the article, “ONC touts dawn of new era of interoperability with TEFCA.” Additionally, ZeOmega was ranked as #1 Best in KLAS for Payer Care Management Solutions 2022 this quarter, a feat that received widespread media interest.
