At Aria, we never fail to bring on talented interns. Interns at Aria help our executives with a wide range of tasks all while benefiting from the comprehensive learning experience that Aria strives to provide. Our newest intern, Sara Groos, joined the Aria team earlier this month as part of her Northeastern University co-op program. We were eager to learn more about her, hence this blog post! Here are seven random facts about Sara:

  1. Sara was born and raised in Luxembourg, which is a tiny European country of roughly 543,202 people (about 100,000 fewer people than in the city of Boston). After a quick Google search, Luxembourg looks gorgeous and definitely somewhere Aria will put on its travel inspiration board.
  2. When asked “Why a co-op in public relations?”, Sara told us she was eager to try something new. If you ask me, she came to the right place! Every day at Aria brings new challenges and opportunities, which is what makes it so exciting to intern here (believe me, I know).
  3. An interesting fact about Sara? She speaks FIVE languages, which is très impressionnant. The list of languages includes: French, German, English, Finnish and Luxembourgish.
  4. Sara’s hobbies include basketball, which she has played for as long as she can remember, and photography, which she just took up within the last couple of years.
  5. Sara’s favorite travel destination is Australia. She visited during her senior year of high school for two weeks of lifeguard training and she wants to venture back as soon as possible.
  6. The most common interview question with the least common answer: when asked if she were stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 things, what would they be, Sara replied: “A toothbrush, toothpaste and sunscreen!” With that careful approach to sun exposure, we know she is a perfect fit for Aria’s focus on health and healthcare.
  7. Lastly, and most importantly, FOOD. Sara informed me that her favorite food is Chili. YUM.

We’re so excited to welcome Sara to the team and are looking forward to guiding her on her PR adventure here at Aria.
