I am very excited to introduce our “Pitch” followers to one of Aria’s newest employees, Lindsey Honig. Lindsey was hired as an Account Executive, and she will be responsible for things like managing speakers’ bureaus and awards programs, running social media initiatives, and executing media relations strategies. Now that Lindsey has survived her first couple of weeks at Aria (and, says she wants to stay!), I thought it would be a good time to sit down with her and get to know her a little bit better. Since she has already sat through enough Aria interviews, I figured a one-minute ‘speed dating’-type interview, a la Watch What Happens Live, would be fun. Here we go!

Q: Dogs or cats?

Dogs (though I do not hate cats)

Q: Jenners or Kardashians?

Neither!

Q: Winter or summer?

Summer

Q: Sushi or pizza?

Pizza

Q: Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins or Patriots (or all of the above)?

All. I am admittedly somewhat of a fair-weather fan. I will watch a playoff game or go to any game though!

Q: Favorite place you’ve ever traveled to?

Definitely Israel. I went with my summer camp for six weeks in high school and got to explore the whole country. I actually have been to Israel twice, and have a really funny story about my first time there.  My parents took me when I was a baby. While we were out to eat one day, someone approached my parents and asked if I would star in a diaper commercial. They passed on the opportunity as we were flying home the next day, but I still give my parents a hard time that they ruined my chance to be famous!

A close second travel destination for me is Denver. I got to hike a glacier and saw my favorite band (Bastille) perform at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre!

Q: Best TV show to binge watch?

The Office. Definitely.

Q: TV show you hate to admit you binge watch?

I used to watch the Kids Baking Championship – mostly because it was on right before Chopped, I swear! But I can say, that show made me feel really bad about my baking skills so I had to stop watching.

Q: The thing most people are surprised to learn about you?

Most people who first meet me think I am really quiet, and are very surprised to learn that I actually am a member of an improv team that performs at ImprovBoston and other venues around the city.

Q: Oprah or Kanye?

Oprah. If you had asked me a few weeks ago though… Just kidding. Always Oprah!

Bonus question: What is the one food you WISH you liked, but don’t?

This is a tough one as I am not a very picky eater. But, if I had to pick, it would be olives. I like a lot of dishes that olives are in, but wind up having to pick them out. I’ll give you one more. I wish l liked tequila. I love Mexican food and margaritas always sound so good, but I just can’t do it!
