As we look back at our biggest PR wins of the year, it becomes clear that one of the most successful strategies we deployed for clients centered on leveraging and packaging up data. One client that has seen the positive outcome of this strategy year over year is Kyruus. For the third time, we partnered with them to help promote its annual Patient Access Journey Report (PAJR) via leveraging data and insights to highlight its market leadership. Below is a snapshot of the strategy we deployed and some highlights of the results garnered to date: 



Aria was tasked with extracting the most newsworthy nuggets from the raw data of the report that would pique media interest and tie into timely industry trends, ultimately resulting in favorable news coverage. Aria designed and executed a comprehensive PR strategy, which included:


  • Drafting the 2019 Patient Access Journey Report press release
  • Developing a pitch plan to generate interest in and coverage of the report
  • Executing an embargo media strategy to garner the attention of top media influencers and journalists and secure coverage upon the report’s release to market
  • Conducting ongoing media outreach on the PAJR and its findings


As a result of this approach, Aria secured the interest of top-tier healthcare trades such as Medical Economics, Healthcare IT News, and Becker’s Hospital Review along with many others to increase awareness of the report. Together with Kyruus, we were able to secure coverage that positioned Kyruus as a leading authority on patient access and consumerism trends as well as expand brand awareness for the company as a whole.
