I am very excited to introduce our “Pitch” followers to one of Aria’s newest employees, Lindsey Honig. Lindsey was hired as an Account Executive, and she will be responsible for things like managing speakers’ bureaus and awards programs, running social media initiatives, and executing media relations strategies. Now that Lindsey has survived her first couple of weeks at Aria (and, says she wants to stay!), I thought it would be a good time to sit down with her and get to know her a little bit better. Since she has already sat through enough Aria interviews, I figured a one-minute ‘speed dating’-type interview, a la Watch What Happens Live, would be fun. Here we go!

It is finally starting to feel like spring in Boston, but for us New Englanders, this past winter felt extra long and cold. So, the best thing to do when dealing with what seemed like the 107th day of January was to take a cabin fever reliever trip! Facebook has been in hot water ever since the news broke that Cambridge Analytica, a political data consulting firm, harvested private data on over 50 million Facebook users without the users' permission. This is just one of many scandals that Facebook has had to weather recently, including recent criticism over the role it played in the 2016 election. With the #DeleteFacebook movement gaining momentum, and brands such as Tesla and Pep Boys removing their company pages from the platform, Facebook is facing a massive PR nightmare.
